ALMATEC: Safety - Quality - Reliability
Fully constructed from top to bottom in high grade PTFE Teflon, these chemical grade pumps can handle almost anything!
Since its founding in 1984, Almatec Maschinenbau GmbH has concentrated on continuously defining the current state-of-the-art in pneumatic (air-operated) diaphragm pumps via extensive product enhancements and innovations.
Almatec Maschinenbau GmbH is a premium manufacturer of air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps and a company which has successfully combined a worldwide presence with proximity to the end-user. Permanent product innovations and improvements have resulted in a large range of products and the opening up of new markets. Our extensive product range offers sophisticated and economical solutions for all applications.
The standard-setting advantages of pneumatic (or air-operated) diaphragm pumps include protection against dry running and overloading, self-priming capability, infinite control, easy start up, no rotating parts in the product stream, solid handling capability and gentle displacement. The quality requirements of our pumps is set high. Solid design, Perswing P® air control system, diaphragms and best-in-class materials are all included in the quality features.
1984 Series AD (Multicor)
The compact and "closed" design of these pneumatic diaphragm pumps immediately became Almatec's trademark. The massive plastic construction provided the mass an oscillating pump requires. The housing material used for wetted parts was either abrasion-resistant polyethylene or the almost universally chemically resistant PTFE. The outer surface was completely metal-free. Diaphragms with integrated metal core and without outer pistons, as well as the choice of either ball or cylinder valves offered a choice for any application.
After 14 years of successful penetration of the market, the Series AD was replaced by the A-Series pneumatic diaphragm pump in 1998. All housing parts (non-wetted as well) were made from the same material. Fluid connections were integrated into the center housing and were designed to fit flange connections as well. Various connection patterns could be realized by rotating the center housing. Pump versions with either ball or cylinder valves could easily be switched over due to the pump's identical inner structures.
2009 E-SeriesBased on the extensive experience with the A-Series pumps, the E-Series plastic air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pump was developed in 2009. The result and the name capture the spirit of Almatec's vision: E = economic, efficient, ecological.
