Wilden Pump & Engineering Company

Wilden Pump & Engineering Company

The Wilden Advantage

Wilden understands that a complex design or solution does not necessarily breed success. Wilden Pump & Engineering Company product ranges are designed to exceed industry standards cost effectively and efficiently. The more intuitive the product or solution is, the easier your specification, operation and maintenance becomes.

Ease of Specification

Wilden and its distributors such as ourselves are staffed with quality pump professionals and a 45-year knowledge base. The Wilden engineering literature is comprehensive with state-of-the-art support and validation materials. Wilden's factory-trained, full-service, stocking distributors are formally educated in properly specifying Wilden pumps to exceed your requirements.

Ease of Operation

Wilden's design simplicity fosters ease of operation. The flow rate and pressure is adjusted by simply adjusting air pressure, air volume and / or discharge head. Troubleshooting system problems is easy due to the low number of moving parts and simplicity and durability of the Wilden design.

Ease of Maintenance

Wilden has refined its technology over the past 40 years. They have made technological advancements to enhance the pump's reliability without sacrificing the ease of maintenance. The lowest parts-per-pump in the industry assure that your maintenance programs result in low direct maintenance expenses and down-time.

Site Selection: It's your choice!

Self Priming

The Wilden pump is capable of pulling high vacuum. Design characteristics enable the pump to run dry without damage to create a pressure differential. This pressure differential creates suction lift up to 6.4m (21 foot) of water. Suction lift capability is dependent on pump size and operating conditions (See individual manuals for specifications).

Positive Suction Head

The pumping system can be designed so that a positive suction head condition is created. This condition is experienced when it is necessary to draw off the bottom of holding tanks, mixing tanks, clarifiers, etc. Pumps operate most effectively and pars life is maximised when inlet pressure is limited to 0.68 bar (10 psig).

Submerged

Many Wilden pumps can be completely submerged. The pump's materials of construction must be chemically compatible with the liquid and the air exhaust must be plumbed to atmosphere.[/center]
